Kevin Pullen, a 46-year-old male from Bryan, was arrested and booked into the Brazos County Jail Monday night in relation to a deadly shooting yesterday (Monday) afternoon on Highway 21 between Highway 47 and Fazzino Lane. Pullen was charged with murder, aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, tampering with evidence, and unauthorized carrying of a weapon by a felon.

The Brazos County Sheriff Office says 37-year-old Shay Lackey was found dead at the scene with a gunshot wound. The other victim at the scene was identified as Tiffany Sterling of College Station. She was flown to CHI St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan for surgery. Her injuries have been classified as not life threatening.

Sheriff Chris Kirk said deputies arrived on the scene to find a traffic accident involving two vehicles; a truck belonging to Pullen, and a car occupied by Lackey and Sterling. Kirk went on to say that deputies determined the three people knew each other and was an act of “targeted violence”. Authorities are attempting to find the motive for the crime.
