MAN DIES AT KYLE FIELD CONSTRUCTION SITE

  

One man has died after falling at the Kyle Field construction site Tuesday morning at Texas A&M.

KBTX TV-3 in Bryan/College Station, reports that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration has confirmed they are investigating a fatality during the work at Kyle Field.

A&M System spokesman Steve Moore, says a 25-year-old man fell from the fourth level of Kyle Field, which is currently undergoing reconstruction. That unidentified person was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan

The accident occurred shortly after 11:00 Tuesday morning.

The site has been shut down as the investigation into the incident continues.  The A&M website has shut down its cameras that was showing the progress of the construction.

This is the second major incident this year at a constructin on the A&M campus this year. In June, four workers were injured when the new equine center facility collapsed as it was being built.
