MARSHALL NAMED ALL-REGION NFCA

Brenham Cubette C/3B Katherine Marshall has received another distinguished honor for her record-breaking 2018 season.

Marshall has been named First Team National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-South/Central Region.

Marshall set a school record with 15 home runs this season, while hitting .500 with a .634 on base percentage, 31 runs scored and 46 runs batted in.

The Cubette junior was also named Texas Girls Coaches Association 5A All-State and District 20/5A Offensive Player of the Year.  She has also been selected to play in the TGCA All-Star game at Workman Complex in Arlington next week.

Marshall is joined on the first team by four other Texas high school players.  A total of nine players from Texas were named to the Second Team, including: Brenda Sanchez, C, Bryan and Jessie Adams, OF, Bryan.
