The Iola ISD Board of Trustees has named its only finalist for the Superintendent position.
Scott Martindale, currently the Iola High School principal, was chosen the same night that former Superintendent Dr. Michael “Chad” Jones resigned. Martindale will have to wait the mandatory three weeks before he can officially be hired as the new Superintendent.
Martindale was asked to join Iola ISD by Jones in July 2013. Before becoming the Iola High School principal, he was the principal at Davila Middle School in Bryan.
