MCCAUL REACTS TO BENGHAZI REPORT

District 10 Texas Congressman Michael McCaul, the chair of the House Homeland Security,  reacted to a report last week on the September 11th, 2012 attack on the Benghazi compound in Libya,.

McCaul said the “Foreign Affairs Committee’s  report is more evidence of the failures of the Administration to make sound security judgments and reveals flawed investigation by the Accountability review board.”  The local congressional representative went on to say that ‘seventeen months after the terrorist attack, no one in the State Department has been meaningfully disciplines for failures which resulted in a ‘woefully inadequate security posture at the Special Mission Compound.’

Congressman McCaul says he is especially troubled by the scathing review of Under Secretary Patrick Kennedy’s handling of the decisions before the attack.

The Congressman concluded by saying there must be ‘justice for the victims’ of the attack.

Congressman McCaul was reacting to a report from the House Foreign Affairs Committee release of a new report on the lack of State Department Accountability  for the Benghazi attacks.
