McCAUL REACTS TO STATE-OF-THE-UNION
As expected, local U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul took exception to a number of point from last night’s State of the Union Address by President Barak Obama.
McCaul accused the President of “appeasing, rather than opposing, our adversaries from the start.”
McCaul said he was “not surprised in his last State of the Union Address he (Obama) touted his naïve and dangerous nuclear deal with Iran despite their military holding American sailors captive. And when it comes to the terror threat we face, once again we heard the President offer rhetoric in the clouds while terrorists plot in our city streets.
McCaul went on to accuse the White House of being, “… more focused on releasing battle-hardened extremists from Guantanamo Bay than keeping terrorists from opening up new safe havens across the world.”
McCaul says, “It appears the President still wants to falsely declare the war against Islamist terror over, while Americans want him to win it.”
McCaul is the chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security.
Mind you I am not one to watch the State of the Union address but last night I did. The President says what he wants people to hear first off. Secondly, What concerns me was the President saying he likes gas prices under $2/gallon…he asked the audience what they thought and he got applauded. He obviously likes buying from other countries and in some way that benefits him and his nationality.This concerns me as my job pertains to oil and gas. Low gas prices hurt our industry. When gas is low everything else is higher. He wants jobs lost to failing oil and gas companies to work at the so called needed 21st century rail system.
Very true! Terrorism is on the rise in America! But Obama is worried about global warming! Really? Unreal! We as America r in serious trouble! May we return to God now! ISIS is getting chemical weapons and nuclear! Iran is getting help from America while Israel is not getting support from this administration! Wake Up Americans!
