McCOWAN NAMED ALL-HOUSTON TRACK & FIELD

Brenham Cubette shot putter Teaira McCowan has been named to the Houston Chronicle’s All-Greater Houston Track & Field.
McCowan took the silver medal at the UIL state meet last month.
McCowan took second with a 42’ throw. She won the Region Championship at 43’ 3-1/2” and the District title at 40’ 8-1/4”.
McCowan will be headed to Mississippi State in the fall to play basketball for the Lady Bulldogs.
