MORE TIRES & RIMS STOLEN FROM A LOCAL CAR DEALER

  

For the second time in as many days, a local car dealership has been hit by tire and rim thefts.

Around 1:30 Thursday morning while on patrol, Corporal Justin Schiller discovered a number of vehicles had been hit at the LaRoche dealership in the 900 block of Highway 290 West.

Schiller reports that the tires & rims had been taken from three vehicles and there were signs that thieves tried to take them from a fourth but were unsuccessful.

A worker at the dealership says the tires & rims had been take from a Chevy Silverado and two GMC Yukon’s.  The suspects attempted to take them from a Chevy Tahoe.

The total value of the three sets of stolen tires and rims is $8,000.

Sometime Tuesday night someone took the tires & rims from four vehicles at Appel Ford.

Earlier this week someone had taken the tires & rims from another vehicle on the LaRoche lot.

Police are continuing their investigation.
