MORNING RESIDENCE FIRE

  

The Brenham Fire Department (BFD) responded to a residential structure fire at 1605 North Park Street at 4:30am this morning..

All occupants exited the residence without injury before BFD responders arrived.

BFD responders found a single story wood frame home with fire coming from the North gable of the home.

The fire was extinguished through an attic access hole in a closed in garage ceiling which was directly under the fire.

The fire damage was confined to the attic, stored items in the attic, and North exterior wall of the residence.

There was light smoke damage throughout the residence and water damage in the closed in garage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the BFD's Fire Marshal's office.
