NANCY CAROL ROBERTS LIBRARY MAKES TRANSFORMATION

The Nancy Carol Roberts Library was closed for about a week during the Christmas holidays, and in that time a lot of major transformations were made.

City Director of Development Wendy Ragonis told the Brenham City Council at  (Thursday’s) meeting, that the library is under a new ‘integrated library system, and that over 53,000 items have been moved, documented or transformed.

The library was closed from December 23rd to January 2nd to make these changes.   Books were re-shelved and the library is preparing for more E-Books.  She said this in preparation for a possible new library building and to have the ability for the library to be ready for the new technological era.
