“NATURE’S BLESSINGS” QUILT SHOW FRIDAY, SATURDAY AT FIREMAN’S TRAINING CENTER

  

The Friendship Quilt Guild of Brenham’s “Nature’s Blessings” Quilt Show kicks off tomorrow (Friday).

Taking place at the Fireman’s Training Center, the judged show is set for tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The show will feature both contemporary and traditional quilts, as well as vendors selling knitting and sewing equipment and jewelry.  There will also be quilts for sale, door prizes, a country store, a boutique, scissor sharpening by Harvey Fischer, and a certified sewing machine repairman on site.

Quilt Show Chairman Sandra Kindt said she’s very excited for everyone to see all the items and activities in store.

 

Each year, the Friendship Quilt Guild donates various sized quilts to the community for individuals in need.  The guild is also focusing on quilts of valor and veteran quilts.  Quilts will also be donated for fundraisers to organizations such as local fire departments, Camp For All, and Miracle Farms.
