‘NATURE’S BLESSINGS’ QUILT SHOW, FRIDAY-SATURDAY

  

The Friendship Quilt Guild of Brenham will be hosting their “Nature’s Blessings” Quilt Show later this week.

The judged show is set for this Friday and Saturday at the Fireman’s Training Center in Brenham, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The show will feature both contemporary and traditional quilts, as well as quilts for sale, vendors, door prizes, a country store, a boutique, and scissor sharpening by Harvey Fischer.  There will also be a certified sewing machine repairman on site.

Each year the Friendship Quilt Guild donates various sized quilts to the community for individuals in need.  The guild is also focusing on quilts of valor and veteran quilts.  They will also be donating quilts for fundraisers to organizations such as: fire departments, Camp For All, Miracle Farms and more.
