NAVASOTA DRIVER ARRESTED IN BRENHAM SUNDAY MORNING
A Navasota man faces DWI charges in Brenham after his arrest Sunday morning.
Officer Heather Sowders was called out at around 4:30 a.m. to the 4000 block of State Highway 36 South where a man had refused to leave a location there.
Sowders says the suspect left before she arrived and was travelling north on 36.
Corporal Steven Eilert located the vehicle and pulled over 23-year old Malcolm Jamal Spriggs of Navasota.
Spriggs had no license or insurance and failed a field sobriety test.
He was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
