NAVASOTA MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT

A Navasota man is behind bars after an argument escalated at a Bryan business.
61-year old Marion Arnold reportedly pulled a knife during an argument with a woman at a Discount Tire Store in Bryan, Saturday.
According to Bryan Police, they arrived at the scene and during a search of Arnold, they discovered what they described as an automatic knife designed to look like a semi-automatic pistol.
Police also say the woman says Arnold threatened to kill her, and that he had recently been released from jail for assaulting her.
