NAVASOTA MAN ARRESTED FOR ROBBERY

A 25-year old Navasota man has been arrested for a robbing a man in College Station Monday night.

Police were able to apprehend Jamarious Jockeith Scott  a short while after he pulled a gun and demanded money from him at about 7pm Monday.  The victim reported that Scott fled into a nearby wooded area.  Police were able to find him after a quick search

Scott may be facing further charges but at the moment he is charged with theft from a person,, a state jail felony with a possible punishment of up to two years in a state jail and a $10,000 fine.
