NAVASOTA MAN FACES DWI ARREST IN BRENHAM
A Navasota man faces charges after his arrest in Brenham Wednesday morning.
Just before noon yesterday, Cpl. Lance Weiss responded to the 100 block of Ava Dr. in reference to a disturbance.
The caller said her ex-husband wouldn’t leave the residence.
Weiss was advised en route that 40-year old Karl Christopher Nelson had left and was headed south on N. Park St.
Weiss located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of E. Blue Bell Rd.
Weiss said he could smell alcohol on Nelson’s breath. Nelson then failed a field sobriety test.
He is charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
