NAVASOTA TO CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH FREEDOM FESTIVAL
Downtown Navasota will host a full day of Fourth of July activities at its first ever Navasota Freedom Festival.
Along with the annual Fourth of July parade, the event will feature live music, food, and family-friendly entertainment and activities.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the Navasota Center, head down Washington Avenue, and conclude on 9th Street. All are welcome to participate in the parade.
The festival will begin at the conclusion of the parade, with live music from Bill Mock, food and shopping vendors, kid’s activities, a cornhole tournament, and specials at downtown businesses.
Event organizers say they will follow the latest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and protocols from Governor Greg Abbott.
