NEW PLASTICS PLANT COMING TO CALDWELL

A manufacturing firm is finalizing plans to come to Caldwell.

Centex Poly Solutions, LLC, specializing in plastics injection molding, is planning to build a 35,000 to 40,000 square foot facility located on five acres behind the Burleson County Industrial Park.

The plant will hold eight to 12 injection molding machines – ranging from 88 to 1,100 tons – and is expected to create 25 to 30 jobs in the first year of operation.

Along with the injection molding, the plant will include mechanical and industrial engineering and design, prototyping, and secondary services like part decorating and welding, assembly-box builds, and distribution.

The owners of the company, Curt Stewart and Buster Evers, say they chose Caldwell because of its pro-business environment and the efforts of the City of Caldwell and the Burleson County Economic Development Council.

A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for December, with the plant expected to open in the second quarter of 2020.
