ONE BODY FOUND, TWO BOATERS MISSING AFTER BOAT CAPSIZES AT FAYETTE CO. LAKE

  

Texas Game Wardens have found a body and are searching for two missing boaters after their boat capsized Saturday night at a lake in Fayette County.

According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Game Wardens received a call around 10 p.m. Saturday night about a boat that had sunk on Lake Fayette.  Two of the men on board were able to swim to shore that night, but the other three did not.

Authorities found a body after resuming their search Sunday morning.  Two others are still missing.

Game Wardens are being assisted in their search by rangers with the Lower Colorado River Authority and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
