ONE KILLED IN ROBERTSON CO. ACCIDENT
One person is dead as crews are working the scene of an accident on Highway 6 in Robertson County, about two miles north of the Brazos County line.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident ocurred Thursday morning when a north-bound passenger vehicle, lost control. The driver reportedly over-corrected, skidding into the path of an 18-wheeler in the opposite lanes.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
