ONLINE FUNDRAISER BENEFITTING BRAZOS VALLEY NONPROFITS OPEN THROUGH TUESDAY

  

Numerous local organizations are taking part in an online fundraiser throughout today (Tuesday).

The first ever Giving Day—Brazos Valley Gives, being put on by the Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley, began at 5 a.m. this morning and runs through 11 p.m. tonight.

The 18-hour fundraiser hopes to bring the region together as one community to raise funding and awareness for nonprofits throughout the Brazos Valley.

Some of the organizations participating are the Brenham ISD Education Foundation, Blinn College Foundation, CASA for Kids of South Central Texas, Hospice Brazos Valley, Miracle Farm, CHI St. Joseph Health, NAMI Brazos Valley, New Beginnings Life Ministries, the Bridge Ministries, and the Volunteer Services Council of the Brenham State Supported Living Center.

The goal for Brazos Valley Gives is $500,000.  All donations will go directly to the donor’s charity or charities of choice.
