PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD TO CONSIDER PLACEMENT OF RETIRED MILITARY AIRCRAFT IN A CITY PARK

  

The City of Brenham Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will meet on Wednesday January 6th at noon to see a presentation on the possible placement of a retired military aircraft in a City of Brenham park.

The Board will also be presented and will discuss a proposal by the Brazos Valley Bombers Baseball to utilize the Fireman’s Park Baseball Complex for their organization and activities.

Also on the agenda is the discussion on 2016 meeting dates and Administrative Updates.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will meet on the 2nd Floor Conference Room at City Hall, located at 200 W Vulcan.

  1. It would be so nice to have a retired aircraft in one of our beautiful parks. There’s a Vietnam era helicopter near Port Lavaca and every kiddo that I’ve taken to view it has been impressed! It makes them realize that freedom isn’t free!
