PELLET GUN FOUND IN BACKPACK OF NAVASOTA STUDENT

A day after the mass shooting at a Florida school, a Navasota junior high student was removed from school for having a pellet gun in his backpack.

Navasota School Superintendent Stu Musick says another student alerted staff members about the pellet gun, and the issue was handled swiftly and without further incident.  Musick applauded the student who quickly alerted the staff, and praised staff members and law enforcement who quickly removed the student with the gun from the school.  In a notice sent home to parents, Musick reminded them that weapons of any kind, even toy guns, are not allowed on school grounds, and bringing one to school can result in serious consequences.

    1. When this world stops breeding ignorance, but that gene pool is beyond infection. Need to reopen the doors on the mental institutions and stop worrying about hurting someones feelings. I am so sick of everyone pointing to gun laws when a law wont fix anything. Stop selling the rifles, what are you going to do with the million or so that are already on the street and homes. We need to stop talking guns and start talking something other than a 3 day catch and release for the nuts that are out there and they just keep releasing.
