POLICE ARREST TWO ON FAMILY VIOLENCE CHARGES
Two Brenham men have been arrested on separate family violence charges.
Saturday night, just after 8:00, Brenham Police were dispatched to an assault in progress in the 1100 block of Schumacher St.
The alleged victim told police that 34-year old Christopher Marinis of Brenham assaulted him causing an injury.
Marinis was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County jail of Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
Monday morning, just before 10:00, local police were called to a reported disturbance in the 2400 block of South Chappell Hill St.
At the scene, police arrested 36-year old Eric Hughes of Brenham was taken into custody on a charge of Assault Causes Bodily Injury-Family Violence.
Hughes was transported to the Washington County Jail.
