POLICE INVESTIGATE STOLEN PICKUPS

  

Brenham Police are warning the public to be wary of having their pickup trucks stolen.

According to the department’s Public Information Officer, Angela Hahn, local officers have worked several stolen vehicle cases in the past two weeks, particularly Ford pickup trucks.

The department is asking residents to remember to lock their vehicles and remove all valuables when they are unoccupied.

The latest theft was reported Monday morning at 6 a.m.

Officer Kejan Mehlhorn responded to the 1200 block of Cheyenne, where the caller said his Ford pickup truck was stolen from his driveway.

The latest incident and several others are under investigation.
