Deputy Thumann spoke to the driver, Rodolfo Sanchez and saw what he called ‘many indicators’ this was a case of drug trafficking.

Thumann and Lobos searched extensively the truck but only found the marijuana when they found a floor compartment in the rear cab area of the truck.  They could only get to the compartment  when they removed the rear seats and carpet from the vehicle.  Once the seats and carpet were taken out the massive amounts of marijuana was found.

Sanchez is now in the Fayette County Jail.
