  1. Watching the process and procession and the military , hearing the eulogies, speeches, comments, and commentaries, and viewing the images, I have so much respect, feeling, and fondness for never before, for someone I do not personally know or met… this great American. I wish I had known more about him to spread word of his great integrity and character. It is with much regret that I was and am not able to attend any of the public activities in Texas, to pay my respects. I am inspired and will try henceforward strive to become a better person.

So proud of my country (US, of course), Texas (in the way we greet and say goodbye to this great American), my city (Houston) (in our love and respect for the president and his family), and my alma mater for having been selected as a location for his presidential library.

My deepest and sincerest sympathy to the wonderful Bush family for your loss.

Know that you are much loved, well-respected, and greatly missed. Good bye and rest in peace, 41.
