RANGE, PASTURE MANAGEMENT SERIES ENDS THURSDAY AT WASHINGTON CO. FAIRGROUNDS

This Thursday will bring the final installment of this year’s South Central Texas Range and Pasture Management Series.

The series so far has covered common questions about soil health, pastureland conditions, weed and brush management, and different types of grass systems.

This week’s presentation will go over setting up a forage management calendar for landowners, at the Washington County Fairgrounds Sales Facility.

The session will begin with registration and dinner at 5:30 p.m., with the program starting at 6 p.m. and ending around 8 p.m.  Participants are asked to register at least three days before the program, to allow proper dinner arrangements to be made.

Registration for the session is $20 per person, which includes dinner, refreshments, proceedings and more.   Registration forms and details can be found at the Washington County Extension Office, on 1305 East Blue Bell Road.  To learn more, call the office at 979-277-6212.
