REP. MICHAEL MCCAUL TO RETURN TO WASHINGTON

  

The chairman of the United States House of Representatives' Homeland Security Committee will serve another two-year term in Washington.McCAUL FEATURE

Republican Michael McCaul defeated Democrat Tawana Cadien and Libertarian Bill Kelsey Tuesday night.

McCaul received 178,926 votes while Democrat Tawana Cadien received 119,728, and Libertarian Bill Kelsey pulled in 13,174 votes.

McCaul’s 10th Congressional District of Texas runs from the Austin across to the Houston, and includes all of Austin, Colorado, Fayette, Waller and Washington Counties.  Areas of Bastrop, Harris, Lee, and Travis Counties also lie within the district.

McCaul says his focus will remain on bringing forth policies that improve his constituents way of life- including policies that encourage economic prosperity, protect the homeland, secure our borders, and uphold the Constitution.
