ROBBERY SUSPECT PLEADS GUILTY-SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS
A Sealy man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison on a felony Robbery charge.
22-year old Alexander Ray Aguado was arrested back on New Year’s Day of this year, after allegedly robbing a man at gun point on Highway 290 East.
Aguado along with 19-year old Spencer Lee McCarty of Brenham, were arrested after they tried to flee police on foot, after a brief high-speed chase.
Aguado was also sentenced to 10 years in prision on a charge of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance. And he was also sentenced to 199 days in jail for felony Possession of Marijuana.
Also sentenced Thursday by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett:
26-year old Bashawn Daniel Brown of San Antonio, who had his probation revoked and was sentenced to four years in prison.
Brown was convicted in 2012 on a felony Burglary of a Habitation charge.
30-year old Maria Cristina Chavez, of Brenham, was placed on four years’ probation for Assault of a Family Member with a Previous Conviction.
Chavez was also fined $500, ordered to pay a $100 family violence shelter fee, perform 200 hours of Community Service and attend a batterers intervention program. She was ordered to spend 139 days in the Washington County Jail.
And, 18-year old Christin Antonio Izzekell Torres of Brenham was placed on five years’ probation and fined $500 for a September arrest for felony Possession of Controlled Substance.
Torres was also ordered to undergo drug/alcohol evaluation and perform 100 hours community service.
