A trail ride to benefit children and adults with special needs is set for Saturday in Cat Spring.
The 27th Annual Saddle Up for SIRE Benefit Trail Ride will take place Saturday at the 7IL Ranch in Cat Spring, located at 5389 Mill Creek Road. Trail riding, along with many other activities, will be offered starting at 7 a.m.
SIRE Executive Director Joe Wappelhorst says the event helps the organization provide therapeutic horsemanship programs for people of all ages.
Wappelhorst says this year’s goal is to raise $110,000. So far, over $68,000 has been raised.
