SCARECROW EXTRAVAGANZA DEADLINE APPROACHING
This Friday, September 21st, is the deadline to enter the 15th Annual Scarecrow Extravaganza in downtown Brenham.
Main Street Brenham is presenting over $1000 in prizes, with five prizes of $150 and a grand prize of $250.
Registration closes at midnight on Friday, September 21st, but the scarecrows don’t have to be placed downtown until Friday, September 28th.
Voting on the scarecrows begins that Saturday and ends Sunday, October 21st with the winners announced Tuesday, October 23rd.
Sponsors for the extravaganza this year include: The Canyon Chick, Must Be Heaven, Tres Chic Boutique, Day Star Christian Bookstore, and Hermann Furniture.
KWHI and KTEX-106 are sponsoring the prize for the scarecrow receiving the most votes.
