SCHULENBURG MAN FACING FELONY DRUG CHARGE AFTER MONTH LONG INVESTIGATION

  

Following a month long investigation, a Fayette County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit made an arrest Monday in Schulenburg.

According to Sheriff Keith Korenek, the suspect was having marijuana THC oil delivered to his residence through the local United States Postal Service.  Authorities obtained and executed a search warrant on a suspicious package, which contained four vials of THC oil.

The package was delivered, and the suspect, 38-year-old Karl Eggemeyer of Schulenburg, was arrested.  Further vials were found in the residence, weighing over 56 grams total.  Eggemeyer was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a second degree felony.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Schulenburg police and the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office.
