SEALY MAN ARRESTED MONDAY ON DRUG CHARGES

A Sealy man was arrested Monday on drug charges after a search warrant was served on his residence.  DeAndre Latrell Johnson, 21, of Sealy was arrested by the Austin County Special Response Team Monday for 2 felony drug charges and two misdemeanor drug charges. He posted $60,000 in bonds and was released from jail. The search of the house in the 900 block of Garland Lane, Sealy, was the result of an active investigation by the Austin County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit. Investigators seized several different types of narcotics including powder cocaine, rock cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana during the operation. Officers also recovered scales, packaging materials and other drug paraphernalia utilized in drug transactions. A semi-auto handgun, passenger car and over $4,000.00 in cash was also seized. The Austin County SRT is made up of officers from the Austin County Sheriff’s Office, Bellville Police, Sealy Police, Wallis Police and Pct. 2 Constable. Austin County Sheriff Jack Brandes said that more arrests may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.

They need them to bond out so they can sign up for confedential informant patrol..its rediculous…..but thats what one must assume when you see that..its a never ending game played by the “big boys”, (feds) …..and even if its the sherrif s office theyll be working under auspices of federal agents visa vie dual credentialing…and what ultimately ends up happening is the subject goes back to selling dope, and the public suffers on! We need to just start dropping the hammer on these people and stop this rediculous game.
