SEVEN SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
A pair of Brenham brothers have been sentenced to five years in prison on a Burglary of a Habitation conviction.
29-year old Carlos Emilio Flores-Martel and 39-year old Jimy Lenin Hernandez-Martel, both of Brenham, were arrested in October.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the two were arrested after a shooting incident took place in the 900 block of Allen Road, October 6th, where a weapon was fired, but no one was injured.
Also sentenced Thursday:
38-year old Alex Antonio McDonald of Brenham, sentenced to 11 month in jail for Evading Arrest/Detention with Previous Conviction – a State Jail Felony
46-year old Michael Troy Pruitt of Houston was sentenced to 2-and-a-half years in prison for a September arrest for Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle – a Third Degree Felony
19-year old Jose Andres Ramirez of Somerville was placed on three years’ probation for a 2018 arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony. Ramirez was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
25-year old Laramie David Keim of Brenham was place on two years’ probation and fined $500 for Possession of a Controlled Substance – a Class A Misdemeanor. He was also ordered to perform 200 hours of Community Service.
38-year old Erica Shae Carter of Somerville was sentenced to 90 days in jail for Theft of Property Less Than $2500 With two or More Previous Convictions – a State Jail Felony and Possession of a Controlled Substance – also a State Jail Felony.
