SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK, HOHLT PARK

Some Shakespeare in the Park, Brenham style is coming to Hohlt Park on June 29th.

A grant from the city of Brenham arranged by attorney Steve Haley will bring a production of the Shakespearean comedy ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ at the Bobbie Morrow Dietrich Memorial Amphitheater that Sunday night, free of charge.

The play is being directed by Michael Carter, a drama teacher and director in Houston.  He says this play is a delightful, funny, and intense love story about Benedict who has returned from battle and the woman, Beatrice, who he is pursuing.

The Dietrich Memorial Amphitheater has been the site of numerous concerts and performances. On June 29th it will host a production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing.
