SIX INJURED IN HEAD ON COLLISION IN NAVASOTA

  

Police say an SUV and pickup truck crashed head-on, around 12:45 p.m. Saturday, in front of the Navasota Livestock Auction, and a 5 year old was ejected from the pickup.

Five other people were injured, including an 11 month old.

According to Trooper Jimmy Morgan, a westbound Chevy pickup crossed into the eastbound land of Texas 90, striking the Nissan Pathfinder

Six people were transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Bryan and The College Station Medical Center. The five year old, who was not wearing a seat belt, was eventually transported to a Houston hospital

The condition of those injured were not available, and it was not immediately clear if weather played a role in the accident.
