SOMERVILLE BOIL WATER NOTICE NOW LIFTED
The boil water notice for the city of Somerville has been lifted.
The Community Public Water System for Somerville issued a boil notice Monday afternoon, after a car struck a fire hydrant, causing a leak.
The city was under order to boil water, due to potential bacteria and microbes in the water.
That notice is no longer in effect.
