SOMERVILLE LAKEFEST CONTINUES TODAY
The 2018 Somerville Lakefest continues today at Welch Park.
This year’s event had been moved up from mid-July to June this weekend.
This year’s event concludes today with a concert, barbeque coo-off, kids’ cookoff, a kid’s play area, arts and crafts, a classic car show and other activities.
Today, gates open at 10:00 a.m. and the day culminates with a dance with the Texas Unlimited Band from 9:00 p.m. to midnight.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-to-12, and children 5-and-under get in free.
