SOMERVILLE LAKEFEST NEXT WEEKEND AT WELCH PARK
Next weekend will play host to the Somerville Lakefest at Welch Park.
The event, held next Friday and Saturday, will offer a wide variety of summertime activities. Somerville Visitor Center Director Brenda Kolojaco says people will have a lot to look forward to.
Along with the cook-offs, there will be live music, and a classic car show.
Kolojaco says she’s really looking forward to seeing what the cooks can come up with. She says team sign-up spots are filling fast.
The event will be held at Welch Park, under the dam at Lake Somerville. Tickets will be sold at the gate. For more information, contact the City of Somerville at 979-596-1822.
