SOMERVILLE TEACHERS TO GET PAY RAISE
After years of consideration, teachers in Somerville will be getting a raise.
Earlier this week the Somerville ISD Board of Trustees approved the raises for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year.
The school board approved a $2,000 pay increase for teachers, and the district says it's an effort to remain competitive.
The raises were approved at the board meeting Monday.
