STILL A BOEHM ON BLINN BOARD

  

There is still a Boehm on the Blinn Board of Trustees. 

          Soon after the Board recognized Dr. Henry Boehm for his 33 years on the Board, they appointed his wife, Teddy Boehm to replace him.

          Ms. Boehm asked the Board to appoint her and, in his closing address to the Board, Dr. Boehm, who retired from the Board at its last meeting,  praised his wife, the board and the staff of Blinn College for offering this community an excellent educational institution.

          Teddy, like her husband, is a graduate of Blinn College.  She went on to University of Texas to finish her B.A. and received a Master’s degree from Texas A&M. 

          She is Chair of the Blinn College Foundation Board of Directors.  Ms. Boehm has also been involved with the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, Washington County Auxiliary, Washington County Goodfellows, Washington County Goodfellows,  and many other community activities.

          Ms. Boehm said it was an honor to be appointed and is excited about serving.

          She will serve until the elections of May 2015.
