‘SUMMER SIP AND ART WALK’ SATURDAY IN DOWNTOWN BRENHAM

  

Downtown Brenham will play host tomorrow (Saturday) to flavorful drinks and striking art displays at Main Street Brenham’s “Summer Sip and Art Walk.”

Main Street Brenham Coordinator Kathrine Briscoe says visitors to downtown from 3 to 7 p.m. have a fun afternoon in store.

 

Some of the drinks that will be served at participating businesses include margaritas, sangria and hibiscus punch.  City of Brenham Tourism and Marketing Coordinator Nancy Joiner says several local restaurants will also be offering specials.

 

Commemorative drink glasses serve as tickets for the event.  Glasses are no longer being sold at participating businesses, and are only available online at www.downtownbrenham.com.  A limited number of walk-up tickets will be sold at the event, and 500 tickets are being sold in total.

Glasses will go up from the current price of $25 to $35 tomorrow.  Guests can pick up their glasses, along with a shopping bag, wristband and map at the Washington County Courthouse gazebo at the event.
