SUTTON SCORES FIRST N.F.L. TOUCHDOWN

Courtland Sutton

Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Courtland Sutton scored his first NFL touchdown against the Chicago Bears on Saturday.

Sutton scored on a 16-yard bullet from quarterback Chad Kelly in the second quarter.

It was Sutton's only catch in the game, and gave the Broncos a 20-7 lead at the time.

The former Brenham Cub and SMU Mustang was the Bronco's second round pick in the 2018 draft and is expected to be the team's number-three target early on, behind Demaryius Thomas and Bellville's Emmanuel Sanders.

Austin Schlottmann

Sutton's former Cub teammate, Austin Schlottmann--an undrafted free agent from TCU--played a good part of the second half at center for the Broncos.  Scholttmann continues to battle to make the team as a backup on the offensive line.

The Broncos will travel to Washington for a Friday night game at 6:30
