TEENAGER IN COLLEGE STATION HIT BY TRAIN WHILE WALKING ON TRACKS
Just before 11pm Wednesday night, a 19 year old man was reportedly hit by a train near the intersection of University Drive and Wellborn in College Station.
No reason has been given on why the teenager was on the tracks, and despite suffering major injuries, the man was conscious when police arrived.
The man was send to St. Joseph Regional Health Center with extensive injuries, but was in stable condition.
The name of the teenager has not been released.
The train was stopped for several hours, but was allowed to continue around 2:30am this morning.
