(Houston Texans, NFL)

The Houston Texans have agreed to send wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for running back David Johnson.

League sources say, in addition to Johnson, the Texans will receive a 2020 second round pick and a 2021 fourth round pick, while giving up Hopkins and a 2020 fourth round pick.

According to multiple reports, the Texans will take on the full salary of Johnson, who signed a three-year, $39 million extension in 2018.   The Texans owed Hopkins $14 million in 2020, $15 million in 2021, and $13.9 million in 2022.
