TEXAS ARTS AND MUSIC FESTIVAL GETS UNDERWAY FRIDAY

The Texas Arts and Music Festival is ramping up this weekend.

Starting tomorrow (Friday), rain or shine, the Festival will offer a craft beer tasting, food trucks, music, and a variety of arts on display.

Festival Board Chairman Brad Stufflebeam says he’s looking forward to this packed weekend of activities.

Stufflebeam says the art helps bring attention to the city, and he’s excited to see what the new and returning artists bring to Brenham.

He also says this event for the community will look to give back to the community.

Board member Jenny Van Doorf has also announced that tomorrow, starting at 10 a.m., students from Brenham, Burton, and Sealy will get to meet two of the mural artists as they begin their murals. They can ask the artists questions, and learn about their techniques.

The Festival is free, but VIP tickets are available for purchase. These grant access to the VIP tent, which offers reserved seating and the chance to meet artists and bands.
