TEXAS ARTS AND MUSIC FESTIVAL UNDERWAY IN DOWNTOWN BRENHAM

  

After a long wait, the 3rd Annual Texas Arts and Music Festival has officially begun in downtown Brenham.

However, the main slate of events takes place today (Saturday).  Starting at 10 a.m., the art village and food truck alley open to the public.  The VIP Tent opens at 3:30 p.m.

World-renowned artist Chad Eaton will work on bringing new artwork to the side of the Home Sweet Farm building on 307 South Park Street.  In addition, David Flores and Michael Rodriguez will be coming to work on new and existing murals.

Tonight’s musical performers include the Brenham Children’s Choir at 2 p.m., Grant Gilbert at 3 p.m., and Jaime Wyatt at 4:30 p.m.  Performances continue into the night, with Kody West at 6 p.m., Bri Bagwell and the Banned at 7:30 p.m., and Cody Canada and the Departed at 9 p.m.

Activities continue Sunday with the art village and food trucks, along with a performance by the Brown Sugar Band at noon.
