TEXAS MUSIC FRIENDLY COMMUNITY WORKSHOP TUESDAY FOR VISIT BRENHAM/WASHINGTON CO.

  

The public is invited to a virtual workshop this (Tuesday) evening to learn more about the Visit Brenham/Washington County Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) becoming Texas Music Friendly certified.

The Music Friendly Community Workshop, co-hosted by Visit Brenham/Washington County and the Texas Music Office, will be held tonight from 6 to 7:30 p.m. via livestream on Microsoft Teams.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in learning about the new Texas Music Office program that seeks to foster music business economic development in Texas cities and communities.  The workshop is part of the process to secure the Texas Music Friendly designation for Brenham.

Chip Adams, Community Relations and Outreach Specialist of the Texas Music Office within the Office of the Governor’s Economic Development and Tourism Division, will be present during the workshop to explain the Music Friendly Community designation and answer questions.
