The 10th anniversary edition of Brenham’s Hot Nights Cool Tunes continued Saturday night as the sounds of soul, funk and Motown filled the air in downtown Brenham.

Another large crowd turned out for the free concert and street dance with The Matchmakers Band from Austin.

So far, this year’s first two editions of the free Saturday night shows have featured near-record crowds—numbering in the thousands.

The sponsors for this week’s show were: Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, Citizens State Bank and Houston Hermetics

The concerts will continue each Saturday night through July 26th. 

Next week’s free show features the return of the hugely popular Abbey Road/Already Gone.

The two bands-in-one feature the music of the Beatles and the Eagles.

Next week’s sponsors include: Brenham National Bank, Seidel Schroeder & Company and Spiess Germania Insurance.
